Keen Land Design is a landscape architecture and land planning firm with extensive experience on projects both large and small, complex and relatively straightforward. Projects include residential design, commercial and mixed-use development, health care facilities, sports and recreation areas, and ecological restoration. In addition to being licensed in landscape architecture, Keen is also certified in stormwater system inspection.

Austin McKeen
Owner/ Landscape Architect
Austin McKeen is a licensed landscape architect (NC #1956) with eighteen years of professional experience on a wide range of complex land planning and landscape architecture projects. His work includes health care facilities, parks, greenways, commercial development, and residential design. Mr. McKeen has worked on successful projects throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and western North Carolina.
Mr. McKeen received a Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado in 2006 and, in the same year, received an Award of Merit from the American Society of Landscape Architects. Mr. McKeen continues to bring a high level of creativity and an eye for detail to each project large and small.
In his free time, you can find him hiking, camping, taking photos, and working on his land in Fairview, NC.
